Cassandra Farmer was born and raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She married a Nucla boy in 1998. In 2006 they relocated to Nucla and Cassandra found her forever home, where she discovered quilting as a form of artistic expression. Then came the chance meeting with Rosella that changed her life. Cassandra began taking classes and eventually became a professional longarm quilter. She is the Administrative Director for Art at The Apothecary.
Rosella Chiles, a graduate of Clarissa School of Fashion Design, has taught/lectured in fiber arts for 30 years. Since 2018, she has owned a full service quilting studio. Rosella relocated from Montrose to Nucla where she is now the Fiber-arts consultant and teacher for Art at the Apothecary.
